History of the company

Brunnbauer-Budapest Szerelvénygyártó Kft. (i.e. Armaturemanufacturing Ltd.) was founded by the experts of MOL Corp., Hungarian Hydrocarbon Industrial Research-Development Institute and Brunnbauer-Armaturen Produktionsges. m.b.H., Vienna in 1993. Our main activities are the production, designing and sales of the following armatures:

• Stop valves
• Control valves
• Check valves
• Manometer- and Instrument-valves
• Control valves for controlling of big ΔP
• Sampling armatures, even in completely built in form in units, too
• Sales of the products of the company Brunnbauer-Armaturen G.m.b.H.
• Sales of LESER safety valves

The most of our armatures are manufactured in forged body, with changeable seat. They are long life and need little maintenance. If going damaged they can be repaired without dismounting from the pipeline easily and quickly.

The armatures produced by our company are made in accordance with the relevant standards (MSZ=Hungarian Standard; DIN; ASME). According to an agreement they can have a finish different from the standards.

Our armatures can be of stream-lined flow, skew-seat and angle design. The operation of the valves can be with handwheel and with electric or pneumatic actuators.

Range of materials:

Constructional materials: Carbon steel, heat resistant steel, corrosion resisting steel, special materials in accordance with the corrosion aspects.

Sealing materials: They are selected according to the working parameters. PTFE; graphite; FPM; NBR etc.

Range of pressure: to 630 bar. Range of temperature: from –60°C to +570°C.

These armatures can be applied for stopping and regulating hydrocarbons, water, steam, gas and other chemical materials in case of big ΔP, too.

Our company has ISO 9001 and Nuclear Qualification of Supplier for the Nuclear Power Station.

After the foundation to satisfy the increasing market demand the range of products needed to be expanded rapidly. Above developing and expanding the inherited oil and gas industrial shut-off armatures, we have launched the production of high-pressure valves for power stations.

The real breakthrough was brought by the development of the control and check valves. The valve which is suitable for controlling both small and big ΔP and which can be operated in two directions met with full success.

Since our foundation we represent the safety valves of the LESER Company in Hamburg as a sole agency in Hungary. If there is a need, we serve our clients with engineering consultation and with valves from our own store where besides the often needed valve types and spare parts you can find the valve springs needed to change the set pressure of the valve.

We have created our service team to repair and restore industrial armatures at the end of 2006. We succeeded in proving our competence in the maintenance works of the planned stops in power stations, in the chemical industry and in pharmaceutical factories. With our service car equipped with setting rig we can assume the unexpected breakdowns’removal in a short time. Besides the assumed maintenance works an important task is the providing of the warranty of BRUNNBAUER armatures and LESER safety valves.

We can thank the success of our products to the developments adjusted to the market demands and our quality policy observed by great technological discipline. We had created our quality management system operating according to ISO 9001 in 1996 from the construction till the production. We have obtained a nuclear qualification of Supplier for the Nuclear Power Station in 1998.
